THE LITTLE FIGURES PLUS THE ORIGINAL HIDDEN FIGURES CREATOR EQUALS A BUCKET LIST BUSINESS APPOINTMENT FACILITATED BY SPC, REPORTED IN-DEPTH BY STUDENT-RUN NEWS OUTLETS

The student-run news outlets which serve the Alamo Community College District have published a report on the premiere project of seminars and lectures at St. Philip’s College.

The student-run news outlets are The Ranger, and the report is on the A-Plus Hispanic Heritage Month speaking debut of the Hidden Figures author Margot Lee Shetterly for the 2018 St. Philip's College President’s Lecture Series.

Shetterly inspired local young women who visited St. Philip’s College earlier this year to excel in a STEM video competition inspired by Hidden Figures. The rigorous STEM experience came full circle when several of the victorious competitors known as The Little Figures talked business during a bucket list business appointment with the iconic franchise creator following her 2018 St. Philip’s College speaking debut. The once-in-a lifetime Little Figures and Hidden Figures appointment facilitated by the 120-year-old college formed the basis of the Ranger exclusive report.
