Vocational Nursing Program at CTTC New Braunfels Campus Ranks #1 in Texas

圣. Philip’s 大学 Vocational Nursing Program at the Central Texas Technology Center (CTTC) in New Braunfels  has ranked #1 in Texas by Nursing Schools Almanac (NSA).

The methodology by NSA included an evaluation of an extensive database of student performance on the NCLEX-PN licensure exam. The data collected was then analyzed to calculate the NCLEX pass rate among first-time test-takers in each program. 圣. Philip’s 大学 - New Braunfels program ranked the strongest among Texas LVN programs with a 100 percent first-time NCLEX pass rate.

The CTTC campus is aligned with the St. 菲利普的大学 Vocational Nursing Program to provide the same educational opportunities for vocational nursing needs in the New Braunfels community. Learning at the CTTC provides consistent educational experiences where students can concentrate on their studies in a smaller environment.

The Vocational Nursing Program curriculum covers fundamentals of vocational nursing, ethical 和 legal aspects of nursing practice, 营养, 老年医学, 沟通技巧, body structure 和 function, administration of medications 和 solutions, medical 和 surgical nursing, 产科护理, 儿科护理学, mental health nursing, 和 professional development.
