2020年7月22日

圣. Philip’s 大学 Child Development Center announced they will deliver parenting support to student-parents through virtual lessons for the Fall 2020 semester as current COVID-19 metrics warrant.

Guidance for parents will include topics in potty training, 重定向, managing child tantrums, child decision making 和 contingencies. Lessons will align with the Texas Education Agency 和 the Texas Early Learning St和ards for children 0-3 years old. Materials offered for student-parents will encompass interactive PowerPoints focusing on early childhood education st和ards, best practices for routines 和 language development.

When the 阿拉莫大学 区 determines it is safe to re-open the Child Development Center, enrollment will follow the Texas Health 和 Human Services Childcare opening safety protocols. These protocols adhere strictly to the Center for Disease Control COVID-19 guidelines, City of 圣安东尼奥 Metro Health Department regulations 和 the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) requirements.

St. Philip’s 大学 employees in need of child care services are asked to contact the Child Development Center at 210-486-2500 for off-site recommendations of NAEYC Accredited Programs.
