St. Philip’s College Celebrates Homecoming

St. Philip’s College celebrated Homecoming 2019 with a fun-packed week of events October 14-18. The annual tradition brings together the community to promote the programs and services on campus. It also serves to enhance financial resources to support the educational mission of the college.

The week kicked off with the spirit-filled SPC Homecoming pep rally. SPC student-athletes, Mr. & Ms. St. Philip’s, 2019-20 Homecoming Court Candidates and student leaders served lunch to SWC students, faculty/staff. The event featured the SPC Tiger Spirit Squad and remarks from SPC President Dr. Adena Williams Loston and other members of the leadership team. Other events such as Bowling for a Cause: Homecoming Edition, Tiger Lounge Day Party, and the Tiger Spirit Social offered more opportunities for participation.

Homecoming Week wrapped up with the Blue & White Alumni Mixer and Dance, highlighted by the coronation of Mr. and Ms. St. Philip’s College. This event is the alumni “coming home” and is intended to bring former and current students together.
