What will I learn?

Courses are designed to provide training in thinking about firm and consumer behavior, business cycles, government regulatory, antitrust, and business cycle policy options, statistical concepts and techniques, and the historical context of economic aspects of life. Students learn to analyze choices and to think clearly about an array of issues relating to the production and distribution of goods and services.

What can I do with this course of study?

A bachelor's degree in economics is excellent preparation for a great variety of careers including business, law, high school and college teaching, journalism, public affairs, finance and banking, and work with labor unions and international businesses and organizations. Some of these careers require a Bachelor's Degree; others graduate training.
