NSLS Virtual Induction Ceremony

On May 20th, The NLC Chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) hosted a Virtual Induction Ceremony to recognize 104 NLC students as the newest members of The Society.  NSLS presented one Honorary Membership Award to Dean William Fanning, two Excellence in Service to Students Awards to Monica Tobon-Ramirez, VA Certified Advisor, and Rebecca Alejos-Sharadin, Coordinator of High School Programs and one Excellence in Teaching Award to Dr. Jennifer Parrott, Biology Instructor.  The NSLS Student Experience Story was given by Ms. Sarah Hernandez and the keynote address was given by Ms. Salena Guipzot, the founder of The Board Room Project, an organization that partners with local community businesses to deliver board, business, and community leadership programming to the NLC female student body.

The NSLS is an organization that provides a life-changing leadership program that helps students achieve personal growth, career success and empowers them to have a positive impact in their communities. With 724 chapters, the NSLS currently has 1,428,539 members nationwide.
